The working ship Voe Earl belonging to the group Damen Shipyard was equipped with two model 200000-4s Effer cranes, installed in 2011. These cranes have a maximum reach of 16m and a capacity of 25ton and can be controlled remotely by radio control.

Their main use is handling heavy loads and submerged objects.

A curiosity: the Voe Earl ship took part in the recovery operations of the Costa Concordia, the cruise ship ran aground in January 2012 off the island of Giglio, and the two Effer cranes managed the removal and subsequent repositioning of rock displaced by Concordia, which occurred during a time of commemoration for the shipwreck victims.
